Responsible for operating and maintaining Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) systems to ensure proper treatment of industrial wastewater and sewage as per pollution control standards. Monitor plant operations, check pH levels, chemical dosing, water quality and equipment performance. Conduct routine inspections, cleaning and preventive maintenance of pumps, motors, filters and pipelines. Collect water samples and maintain daily operational records, logbooks and treatment reports. Ensure proper handling and storage of treatment chemicals while following safety procedures. Identify operational issues, troubleshoot breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure smooth and productive plant operations.
