About the role
We're looking for a Data Migration Consultant to own the full migration lifecycle on Oracle implementation and upgrade projects. You will extract, cleanse, transform, load and reconcile data, and build reports and tools that give clients confidence in their data.

What you'll do
Lead data migration from legacy and Oracle EBS systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud: extraction, transformation, loading and validation. Analyse source data, find quality issues, and define cleansing, de-duplication and enrichment rules with business users. Prepare and load data using FBDI, HDL/HSDL, ADFdi, REST/SOAP APIs and standard import programs. Build mapping documents, transformation logic and cross-reference (lookup) tables. Develop BI Publisher (BIP) reports and data models for extraction, pre-load validation and post-load reconciliation. Run mock conversions, track load errors, resolve root causes and maintain migration defect logs. Prepare reconciliation reports and get business sign-off at each migration cycle.



Plan and support cutover activities, including migration runbooks and timings. Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL for data profiling, transformation and validation. Produce transparent documentation: data migration strategy, mapping specs, test results and cutover plans. Work with functional consultants, technical teams and client stakeholders across time zones. About you Essential 3+ years of Oracle data migration experience on EBS and/or Fusion Cloud projects. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning and bulk processing. Hands-on experience building BI Publisher reports (data models, templates, bursting, scheduling). Practical experience with data cleansing, profiling and quality checks. Working knowledge of FBDI, HDL and/or ADFdi load methods. Understanding of core data objects in at least one area: Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA), SCM (Items, Suppliers, Customers, POs) or HCM (Workers, Assignments). Experience with migration reconciliation and audit-ready sign-off processes. Good communication skills and the ability to explain data issues to business users. Desirable Oracle APEX experience. Exposure to OTBI and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Experience with ETL tools or scripting (Python, shell) for automation. Experience on EBS-to-Fusion migration or EBS R12 upgrade projects. Oracle certification in Fusion Cloud, Database SQL or APEX. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
