Title: VDI Engineer (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)

Location: Hyderabad, India (5 Days Onsite – HITEC City)

Duration: 12+ months contract

Joining: Immediate – Candidates available within 15–30 days preferred.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on Omnissa Horizon Implementation
- Strong PowerShell and/or Ansible Automation
- Windows Desktop Engineering and VDI Infrastructure

Candidates without Omnissa Horizon implementation and automation experience will not be considered.

Role Overview

We are seeking a VDI Engineer with strong experience in Windows Desktop Engineering, Omnissa Horizon implementation, and automation. The role involves building, managing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-scale Windows-based VDI environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, manage, and support Omnissa Horizon VDI environments.
- Build, optimize, and maintain Windows desktop images.
- Manage VDI lifecycle, desktop standardization, and image updates.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Ansible.
- Troubleshoot complex Windows OS, desktop, and VDI issues.




- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to improve VDI performance, stability, and scalability.
- Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Experience as a VDI Engineer or Windows Desktop Engineer.
- Hands-on Omnissa Horizon implementation experience.
- Robust Windows OS and desktop engineering expertise.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Practical experience with Ansible automation.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale VDI environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week in Hyderabad.

Omnissa Horizon, VDI, Windows OS, PowerShell, Ansible, Windows Desktop Imaging, Desktop Optimization, Citrix VDI (added advantage).
