Job Overview:

Jerai Fitness Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with expertise in GST, TDS, and accounting operations. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining books of accounts, handling GST and TDS compliance, performing account reconciliations, and supporting monthly financial closing and audit requirements. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting fundamentals, practical knowledge of statutory compliances, and hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems to ensure accurate financial records and timely regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Records

- Accurately pass and verify all accounting entries, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledger scrutiny and bank, vendor and customer reconciliations.
- Verify invoices, GST input tax credit and statutory liabilities.




- Assist in monthly closing, preparation of schedules and audit requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of financial records.

GST & TDS Compliance

- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciliation.
- Ensure correct TDS deduction, payment, return filing and reconciliation.
- Verify GST input tax credit and ensure proper reconciliation with purchase records.
- Monitor statutory liabilities and ensure timely payment and filing of returns.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation for GST and TDS requirements.

Audit & Documentation

- Assist in monthly financial closing and preparation of supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and provide required accounting records.
- Maintain proper documentation for accounting transactions and statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting activities and statutory deadlines.
- Support the finance team in resolving accounting discrepancies and reconciliation issues.

Qualification & Skills:

- B.Com / M.Com qualification is mandatory.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, GST, TDS and financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and ledger scrutiny.
- Practical experience in GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience in TDS deduction, payment, return filing and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Odoo or other ERP systems.
- Experience in bank, vendor and customer reconciliations.
- Manufacturing industry experience will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
