Role SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Honeywell Safety Manager (SMSC) Engineer with hands-on experience in safety system hardware and software engineering, safety logic development, configuration, testing, and commissioning. The candidate should have practical exposure to Cause & Effect (C&E;) implementation, Fire & Gas (F&G;) logic, HMI graphics testing, and site Instrumentation & Control (I&C;) activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform hardware engineering and software configuration for Honeywell Safety Manager (SMSC).
- Develop, configure, and troubleshoot safety logic, including Cause & Effect (C&E;) and Fire & Gas (F&G;) applications.
- Configure safety applications using Honeywell Safety Manager software and Safety Builder tools.
- Perform logic testing, functional verification, and simulation using HMI graphics.
- Execute loop testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Validate field instruments, safety devices, and system inputs/outputs.
- Support installation, commissioning, startup,



and troubleshooting of safety systems at project sites.
- Configure and troubleshoot third-party communication interfaces, including EtherNet/IP and PROFIBUS.
- Coordinate with engineering and site teams to ensure reliable safety system operation.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Honeywell Safety Manager (SMSC) hardware and software.
- Experience in safety logic development, C&E; matrices, and F&G; logic.
- Knowledge of Safety Manager configuration and HMI-based testing.
- Experience in hardware engineering, loop checking, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
- Understanding of field device validation and industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP and PROFIBUS.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with ControlEdge RTU.
- Knowledge of Safety Builder applications.
- Exposure to site-based Instrumentation & Control (I&C;) activities.
- Candidates with experience in other safety system platforms, such as Triconex, DeltaV SIS, HIMA, ProSafe-RS, or ABB HI, may also be considered.

Candidate Criteria
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience; candidates with 5–6 years may also be considered.
- Notice Period: Maximum 60 days; shorter notice periods preferred.
- Salary Hike: Up to 30% preferred as a guideline, depending on experience and suitability.
