Qatar Airways is recruiting for the role of Cargo Compliance Support Center Coordinator based at our Combined Delivery Centre (CDC) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat (India). The position will be responsible for supporting global screening and remediation of air cargo shipments against sanctions, restricted-party and dual-use goods compliance requirements. The role reviews shipment parties, commodities, routing, destinations, end-use and end-user indicators; validates documentation; records decisions; and escalates potential sanctions or export control concerns in accordance with approved training, SOPs and escalation protocols.
• Review and remediate sanctions and restricted-party screening alerts by validating shipment data, parties, routing and supporting documentation.
• Assess commodities Review for dual-use goods indicators, controlled-goods classifications, destination restrictions, and end-use or end-user concerns.
• Liasoning with stations, HQ cargo operations, product teams and internal stakeholders, including after-hours support where required
• Document screening decisions, rationale, case notes, audit trails and closure evidence accurately and completely.
• Identifying recurring errors, process gaps, training needs and improvement opportunities.
• Escalate confirmed or potential matches, dual-use concerns and other high-risk shipments in line with approved protocols.
• Monitor screening quality, service levels, backlogs and recurring errors, and support timely corrective action.
• Apply maker-checker controls to high-risk cases, manual overrides and screening closures where required.




• Refer complex sanctions and dual-use cases, control gaps and improvement actions to the Cargo Export Control Manager.
• Regularly evaluating the department or team objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to support legislative compliance and the delivery of high-quality service with a responsible environmental attitude. • High School / Diploma or Equivalent with minimum 3 years of job-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 2 years of job-related experience. Job Specific skills




• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in cargo or airport operations, compliance support, sanctions screening, export controls, dual-use goods or trade compliance.
• Knowledge of sanctions screening, dual-use goods controls, air cargo operations, documentation, AWB data, routing and station support processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to interpret compliance-related information, prepare explicit and accurate case notes and correspondence, and communicate complex requirements in a concise and professional manner.
• Communicates with impact by adapting messages to different audiences, presenting findings and escalation points confidently, asking clear and relevant questions, and influencing timely action while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS
