Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Film Director role based in Mumbai. The Film Director will lead the creative vision of film and video projects from concept through final delivery, collaborating closely with producers, writers, cinematographers, and other department heads. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting scripts, developing shot lists and storyboards, guiding casting decisions and rehearsals, and directing performances on set. The role also involves working with the production team to plan schedules, manage resources, and ensure shoots stay on time and within scope. The Film Director will supervise the overall visual and narrative style,



provide feedback during editing and post-production, and help maintain continuity, quality, and coherence across all stages of production.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Film Direction, including visual storytelling, shot composition, and performance direction.
Proficiency in Scriptwriting and collaborating with writers to refine story structure, pacing, and dialogue.
Hands-on experience with Film Production and Video Production, including working with crews, equipment, and on-set logistics.
Working knowledge of Post-Production processes, such as editing, sound design, color grading, and integration of visual effects.
Demonstrated portfolio or showreel of directed work in film, web content, advertising, or related media.
Robust leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams on set.
Ability to work under tight schedules, adapt to changing production needs, and make transparent creative decisions under pressure.
Bachelor’s degree or formal training in Film, Media, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience is highly valued.
