Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves spearheading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities.

The position demands close coordination with various stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks and ensures seamless integration of components, fostering a team-oriented environment to drive project success.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.




Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to meet project goals.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align objectives.
Mentor junior team members to support their qualified growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform.
Strong knowledge of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
Experience in configuring and customizing Pega applications to meet specific business requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Pega setting.
Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs to connect Pega applications with other systems.
Competence in performance tuning and optimizing Pega applications for scalability and reliability.

Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Pega Platform.
This position is based at our Chennai office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
