We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations – Global Capability Centre (GCC) to lead strategic planning, service delivery, and operational excellence for a large, multifunctional shared services organisation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing, scaling, or transforming shared services operations, driving digital transformation, strengthening governance, and building high-performing teams. Experience in the shipping industry would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Lead GCC strategy, business planning, operational priorities, and long-term growth initiatives.
Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Drive process standardisation, automation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage financial performance, budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimisation.
Establish effective governance frameworks, internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Build solid relationships with senior stakeholders and align service delivery with business objectives.
Lead workforce planning, talent development, succession planning,



and overall team performance.
Strengthen business continuity, operational resilience, and organisational effectiveness.

Key Requirements
Relevant bachelor's degree or qualified qualification; a postgraduate qualification is preferred.
15+ years of experience in shared services management, GCC operations, or a comparable leadership role.
Proven experience in establishing, scaling, or transforming large, multifunctional shared services operations or centres of excellence.
Strong expertise in service delivery, operational governance, process optimisation, and performance management.
Experience in digital transformation, automation, and delivering measurable business improvements.
Excellent stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and change leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, develop leadership capabilities, and drive employee engagement.
Robust understanding of risk management, compliance, internal controls, and business continuity.
Shipping industry experience is preferred.
