CNC Setter cum Operator (VMC/Turning)

Requirements:
Education: ITI (Machinist/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating CNC Lathe or VMC machines.
Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings, use precision measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer), and understand basic G-codes/M-codes.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up machines for production, including mounting fixtures, jaws, and cutting tools.
Take accurate work offsets (X, Y, Z) and tool offsets directly on the control panel (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens).
Run the first component (first-off) and inspect it to ensure it perfectly matches drawing tolerances before handing it over to operators or starting the batch run.
Change worn-out tool inserts, adjust wear offsets during production, and resolve minor machine alarms to minimize downtime.
