Responsibilities
• Design fittings and couplings (JIC, BSP, NPT, ORFS, SAE flange, metric) and prepare 3D models and GD&T; drawings.
• Run prototypes, trials and pilot lots through to production.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and vendors on manufacturability, costing and tooling.
• Plan validation tests (pressure, burst, leak) and maintain NPD documentation.
• Handle customer technical queries and sample approvals. Requirements

Tech Mechanical [confirm if Diploma is acceptable].
• 5–6 years of NPD experience in pipes, fittings or hydraulic connectors.
• SolidWorks or Creo, AutoCAD, and positive knowledge of thread standards and materials. Valuable to have: tube bending, brazing or hose assembly exposure.
