Job Description:

Welfyn is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to serve as Principal Officer for its AI/ML-powered investment advisory platform. The candidate will assist in investment research, portfolio analysis, quantitative model oversight, and regulatory compliance in accordance with applicable SEBI Investment Adviser (IA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead investment research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk assessment.
Oversee AI/ML-driven investment advisory models, portfolio recommendations, backtesting, and risk controls.
Ensure compliance with SEBI IA regulations, client risk profiling, suitability assessments, disclosures, and documentation.
Develop and maintain investment advisory policies, SOPs, audit trails, and regulatory records.
Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and portfolio performance.
Coordinate with technology teams to ensure transparent, explainable, and compliant automated investment recommendations.





Mandatory Qualifications:
Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent qualification meeting applicable SEBI requirements.
Valid NISM Series X-A and X-B certifications are mandatory. Candidates without both valid certifications will not be considered.
Relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, wealth management, or investment advisory.
Solid understanding of financial markets, portfolio theory, risk management, and SEBI IA regulations.
Knowledge of quantitative analysis, Python, SQL, or financial modelling is preferred.

Preferred Experience: Experience with SEBI-registered Investment Advisers, fintech companies, or algorithm-driven investment platforms.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
