We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled 1040 HNI Manager to join our energetic tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of complex individual income tax returns (Form 1040) for High Net Worth Individuals (HNI). This role requires a deep understanding of sophisticated tax strategies, wealth management implications, and solid client relationship management skills. The Manager will lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service delivery to our HNI clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the preparation and review of complex federal and state individual income tax returns (Form 1040) for High Net Worth Individuals, including those with intricate investment portfolios, trusts, partnerships, and international considerations.
Provide advanced tax planning and consulting services to HNI clients, identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising on wealth transfer, estate planning, and philanthropic strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of HNI clients, building and maintaining strong,



long-term relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax staff, providing guidance on technical tax matters, professional development, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, staying current with changes in tax legislation and advising clients and internal teams accordingly.
Review tax workpapers, supporting documentation, and tax provisions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Represent clients before tax authorities during audits or inquiries, as needed.
Collaborate with other service lines, such as financial planning and wealth management, to provide integrated solutions for clients.
Participate in business development initiatives, including identifying recent client prospects and contributing to proposals and presentations.
Implement and optimize tax technology and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
