Job Description

Function: Risk Policy – Unsecured Retail (Credit Cards – Pre-Acquisition)

Location: Infinity IT park, Mumbai

Job Role: Credit Card Pre-Acquisition Policy Manager

Grade: M5

Number of Positions: 1

Job Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and manage pre-acquisition risk policies and strategies for the credit card business. • Monitor acquisition portfolio performance, approval trends, sourcing mix, and early delinquency indicators. • Perform data-driven analysis to identify risk trends across segments, channels, geographies, and profiles. • Evaluate and refine eligibility criteria, bureau cut-offs, scorecard-based policies, and sourcing rules.



• Partner with Business, Analytics, Product, Operations, and Technology teams for policy execution and risk sign-offs. • Support implementation of scorecards, digital journeys, and automation initiatives. • Track key risk KPIs against defined risk appetite and recommend corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk governance frameworks.

Job Requirements • Minimum 4 years of experience in credit card / unsecured lending risk or policy roles in Banks, NBFCs, or large financial institutions. • Strong understanding of pre-acquisition credit risk, bureau data, and policy frameworks. • Hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python and visualization tools like Power BI. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience in cross-functional coordination and project delivery.

Education • MBA / BTech / Graduate or Post-Graduate in Statistics, Economics, or related fields. • Certification or hands-on experience in SQL, SAS, or Python preferred.
