Role Description The Assistant to Doctor role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The assistant supports doctors in their daily clinical activities, including organizing patient appointments, preparing examination rooms, and helping manage patient flow. Typical tasks involve handling basic administrative duties, maintaining records, coordinating with reception and nursing staff, and ensuring that patient information is accurately documented. The role also includes answering phone calls, relaying messages, assisting with patient queries, and facilitating transparent communication between patients and medical professionals.



The assistant is expected to follow clinical protocols, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a calm, efficient, and respectful environment in the practice.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills for managing records, schedules, and documentation.
Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities for supporting doctors with coordination, follow-ups, and task prioritization.
Relevant experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting is beneficial.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality, follow instructions accurately, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical or appointment software are an advantage.
Completion of a healthcare, nursing assistant, or administrative course is preferred but not mandatory.
