Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer – Java Backend with 5–7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Java 21+, Spring Boot, AWS, NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and search technologies such as OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

The role involves building production-grade microservices and APIs while collaborating closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build production-grade backend services following REST API design best practices.
Work with AWS services, including configuration management using AWS Systems Manager (SSM) Parameter Store.
Develop solutions using NoSQL databases such as ScyllaDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or equivalent.
Implement search capabilities using OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch.
Work with Spring Data JPA and persistence frameworks.
Participate in GitLab CI/CD pipelines, merge request workflows, and automated deployments.
Apply robust knowledge of OOP and creational design patterns in application development.




Implement robust error-handling strategies and HTTP request/response lifecycles.
Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and related Java testing frameworks.
Collaborate effectively with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams.
Independently drive assigned tasks, proactively identify blockers, and recommend solutions.
