Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication, and cloud services.
Work with databases such as MongoDB (Prefred), MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.
Maintain proper documentation for APIs and backend modules.

Required Skills :
1+ year of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
Experience with Express.js or NestJS.
Positive understanding of REST APIs and API security.
Experience with MongoDB.
Knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
Understanding of JWT Authentication and Role-Based Access Control.




Experience in integrating third-party APIs.
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Understanding of Docker is an advantage.
Positive debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have
Experience with Socket.IO or WebSockets.
Knowledge of Redis or caching mechanisms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with microservices architecture.
