Key Responsibilities
Test Execution : Execute manual test cases to detect functional bugs, logic errors, and UI/UX issues.
Bug Documentation : Write clear, detailed bug reports with replication steps and log them for the dev team.
Test Planning : Analyze software requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Regression Testing : Re-test fixed modules and perform regression testing to ensure overall system stability.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with software developers to clarify requirements and track issue resolution.
Required Technical Skills
Testing Fundamentals : Robust knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Testing Methods : Solid understanding of Black Box Testing, Functional, Integration, and Regression testing methodologies.
Database Basics : Basic understanding of databases and executing easy SQL queries to check backend data validation.
Tools & Languages : Familiarity with tracking sheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
Automation (Good to Have) : Basic theoretical knowledge or hands-on exposure to Selenium or API testing tools like Postman is a plus.
