About Position:

We are seeking an experienced SRE Production Support Engineer to ensure the availability reliability performance and operational excellence of mission-critical applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in production support OpenShift-based cloud environments observability platforms troubleshooting distributed systems and automation. This role requires close collaboration with development infrastructure and operations teams to improve platform stability incident response monitoring and service reliability across enterprise environments.

What Youll Do:

- Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications and platform services.
- Monitor application health infrastructure performance and service availability across OpenShift environments.
- Drive reliability engineering initiatives to improve system uptime resiliency and operational excellence.




- Administer and support OpenShift-based cloud platforms across development testing and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application middleware infrastructure and platform-related incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Support Tomcat servers application deployments and performance optimization activities.
- Develop automation scripts and operational tools using Python and Shell scripting.
- Implement observability frameworks using OpenTelemetry Splunk and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and production readiness.
- Establish monitoring logging alerting and incident management best practices.
- Analyze system performance metrics and proactively identify potential issues.
- Participate in change management release support and production deployments.
- Support cloud migration platform modernization and SRE transformation initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to operational security compliance and governance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation reliability and operational efficiency.

Expertise Youll Bring:

- 8-12 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering Production Support Cloud Operations Platform Engineering or Infrastructure Support.
- Solid experience managing and supporting production environments for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on expertise with OpenShift Cloud platforms and containerized application environments.
- Experience with Tomcat administration deployment troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation monitoring and operational tooling.
- Experience with Splunk for log management monitoring troubleshooting and analytics.
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing OpenTelemetry-based observability solutions.
- Good understanding of distributed systems cloud-native architectures and microservices.




- Strong knowledge of monitoring logging alerting and incident management practices.
- Experience performing root cause analysis problem management and service improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of Kubernetes container orchestration and cloud-native platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across application middleware infrastructure and network layers.
- Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP DNS Load Balancers HTTP/HTTPS SSL and firewall fundamentals.
- Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts DevOps practices and release management processes.
- Strong analytical communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile and enterprise delivery environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
