The jobholder will be responsible for design & development verification & validation of Safety critical Real time Embedded software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standards.
B. Main activities
The jobholder will be responsible for software development activities (from Specification to Verification of software) including:
- Creation of software requirements
- Design and implementation of software modules
- Unit level verification of software modules
- Integration of software modules
- Integration testing (software software & software Hardware)
- Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage
- Verification & Validation of software modules
C. Skills
Experience in full software lifecycle encompassing Software requirements Definition Dynamic & Static Design Coding and verification activities in industrialized domains.
Must have skills:
- Hands on experience on
- Embedded software requirements engineering and Architecture (Static and Dynamic)
- Design and development (module level design interfaces algorithm)
- Embedded Programming
- Unit and integration testing (host & target environment)
- Software configuration management
- Knowledge about standards (requirements / design / coding)
- Knowledge about RTOS
- Strong inter personnel skills
Good to have skills:
- Work experience on DO 178 standard
- Project Management skills
- Knowledge about avionics systems and network
