UST is looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in ETL Testing, Database Testing, Snowflake, Data Warehouse Validation, and Test Automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating complex data pipelines, ensuring data quality, executing automation testing, and supporting business-critical healthcare applications. This role requires excellent analytical skills, hands-on database testing experience, and a deep understanding of healthcare provider data systems. The Opportunity

As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating enterprise data platforms, ETL workflows, and data warehouse solutions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, data engineers, and product owners to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for ETL and Data Warehouse applications.
- Perform ETL, Database, Data Warehouse, Functional, Smoke, Regression, Acceptance, Compatibility, and Exploratory Testing.
- Validate source-to-target data movement and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Perform comprehensive Snowflake database testing and validation activities.
- Create and execute test scenarios for complex ETL workflows and data transformation processes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test cases and validation procedures.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
- Validate Data Warehouse structures including fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
- Prepare test data and validation scenarios based on business requirements and healthcare datasets.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using ICEDQ and other testing tools.
- Manage defects through Jira and participate in defect tracking, triaging, and resolution activities.
- Perform production support validation and participate in WAR room discussions for critical incidents.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production failures and data quality issues.
- Understand and validate job scheduling workflows using Control-M.
- Collaborate with business analysts,



developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Create technical documentation, test reports, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

What You Need

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ETL, Database, Data Warehouse, and Automation Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake testing and validation.
- Expertise in ETL testing methodologies and data validation techniques.
- Strong SQL and database querying skills.
- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL and database testing.
- Experience in functional, regression, acceptance, smoke, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
- Robust understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and architectures.
- Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and ICEDQ.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with business and technical teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

5+ Years Domain Expertise
