Job Title: QIS Senior Analyst

Experience: 2-5 Years

Location: Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform data validation and analysis of market data used for quantitative investment strategy (QIS) index computations.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of input data used for index calculations and validation.

- Monitor index levels and investigate discrepancies or data breaks.

- Prepare customized reports and analytical outputs for end clients.

- Coordinate with Trading Desks, regional teams, and counterparties to resolve identified breaks within timelines.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth middle-office operations and data accuracy.

- Take ownership of assigned activities and ensure timely and accurate execution.

- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

- Support continuous process improvement and maintain robust control standards.

Requisites





- Graduate / MBA in Finance or a related discipline.

- Finance background with a good understanding of financial markets and products.

- Basic understanding of OTC Derivatives is desirable.

- Knowledge of Index strategies and index calculation methodologies.

- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel.

- Basic knowledge of Python would be an added advantage.

- Ability to validate market data, identify discrepancies, and perform data analysis.

- Good communication and coordination skills to work with Trading Desks and regional stakeholders.

- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Proactive approach towards process improvement and issue resolution.
