Description We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer with a background in generators to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of generator systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of gensets (diesel/gas-powered).
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
Ensure all service jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
Maintain service records and generate periodic performance reports.
Provide technical guidance to the service team and customers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex genset issues.
Liaise with supply team for technical support and spare parts.
Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate procurement of parts and supplies.
Ensure proper documentation and stock control procedures are followed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for service-related customer queries and complaints.




Build and maintain robust relationships with clients.
Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer issues.
Lead, train, and supervise service technicians and field engineers.
Allocate manpower and resources for various service projects.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs.

Skills and Qualifications

- 2-5 years of experience in generator maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to generators.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for generator systems.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in the electrical and mechanical fields.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork.
- Technical certification in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
