Position: SQL Database Developer Company: Confidential (UK-based start-up building a digital platform for airport special assistance)
Location: Remote / WFH
Experience: 1-3 years (SQL database development, with exposure to microservices-based platforms)
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Background Sought: Hands-on SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server) + Stored Procedures & Query Tuning + Database Design + Data Migration, with strong problem-solving skills. Exposure to AWS RDS is desirable.

Key responsibilities
Design and maintain tables, views and indexes following best practices
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers
Tune query and database performance using execution plans and indexing
Design data models with Angular, Java and Flutter developers
Build data migration, ETL and reporting scripts
Ensure data integrity, security,



backup and recovery
Troubleshoot production data issues and review SQL code
Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
