Role: UI Architect Exp: 12+ Years

We are looking for an experienced UI / Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Architect to define
and drive the architecture of scalable, high-performance, enterprise-grade digital experiences
using Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
The architect will be responsible for defining the overall UI and EDS solution architecture,
reusable development patterns, integration strategy, performance standards, engineering
governance, and technical roadmap. The role requires deep front-end architecture expertise
combined with hands-on experience designing solutions using Adobe Edge Delivery Services.
The ideal candidate will work closely with enterprise architects, Adobe/AEM teams, UX teams,
product owners, engineering leads, security teams, and business stakeholders to translate
business requirements into scalable technical solutions..

Responsibilities:
• Define the end-to-end Adobe Edge Delivery Services architecture for enterprise
digital platforms.
• Design scalable and reusable architecture for EDS blocks, components, templates,
and content-driven experiences.
• Establish architectural patterns for block development, composition, configuration,
and reuse across multiple sites and business units.
• Define appropriate separation of concerns between content, presentation, business
logic, integrations, and platform services.
• Develop reference architectures, technical standards, solution design documents,
and architectural decision records.
• Evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate EDS implementation
approaches.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, accessible, and optimized for
performance.
• Define modernization strategies for organizations adopting Adobe Edge Delivery
Services.
• Assess existing AEM and legacy web implementations and identify suitable
migration approaches.
• Define migration patterns for content, components, templates, integrations, and
front-end functionality.
• Provide architectural guidance for coexistence between EDS, AEM, and other
enterprise platforms where required.
• Identify opportunities to simplify existing architectures while maintaining required
business capabilities.





- Define integration patterns between EDS experiences and enterprise services.
- Architect integrations with REST APIs, backend services, authentication platforms,

search, commerce, analytics, personalization, consent management, and other
enterprise systems.
• Establish standards for API consumption, error handling, caching, security, and
resiliency.
• Evaluate third-party scripts and integrations with particular consideration for
performance, security, and privacy.

Requirement:

• Minimum 12+ years of front-end development experience, with a focus on architecting and
maintaining large-scale, component-based applications using React/Redux or Vue.

• Proven experience collaborating across multiple development teams in large-scale, fast-
paced environments.

• Strong leadership in facilitating complex discussions, resolving conflicts, and driving
consensus with clear decision ownership.
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while leading by example
as a hands-on technical contributor.
• Experience with building high-traffic eCommerce platforms or CMS solution with multi
brand / theme / market needs is highly desirable.
• Expertise in designing and implementing unified UI component libraries and enforcing
consistency across products.
• Deep understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and modern application
architectures (monolithic and service-oriented).

Technical Skills:
Frontend Technologies

- Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Hands-on experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and frameworks like Tailwind CSS;

strong command of BEM methodology.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), including DOM manipulation, the JavaScript object
model, and modern design patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in ReactJS, with practical exposure to Design Systems and the Atomic
Design methodology.
• Experience with mobile app development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or
similar is a plus.

UI Architecture & Integration

- Skilled in integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs with modern UI frameworks.
- Experience developing Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and reusable UI component

libraries.
• Strong understanding of Node.js, npm, and build tools such as Webpack, Babel, Grunt, and
Gulp.

• Familiarity with headless commerce implementations and AEM / Adobe Commerce front-
end development.

• Knowledge of cross-platform architecture and API-driven mobile integrations considered an
advantage.

UI Performance, Testing & Quality
• Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, GLHS, and web performance optimization
techniques.

- Proficient in web accessibility (WCAG) compliance and best practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, Karma, and Playwright.
- Robust grasp of unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality automation.
- Awareness of mobile performance optimization and device-specific testing is beneficial.

UI Security & Version Control

- Knowledge of OWASP security principles and secure front-end development practices.
- Proficient in version control systems such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.

Analytical & Collaboration Skills
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into robust technical
specifications.
• Strong capability in benchmarking, performance tuning, and continuous front-end
optimization.
• Familiarity with modern build pipelines, toolchains, and cross-functional collaboration in
Agile / Scrum environments.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and AI-enhanced UI experiences is a plus.
