WSP India, GCC, ME-T&I; is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Project Planner to join our commercial management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in planning and scheduling, Claim Management large-scale linear infrastructure projects using Primavera P6. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of project management principles and to prepare the extension of time & prolongation claims.

Responsible for updating Project Schedule and to prepare recovery plan when needed

Review schedules, undertake analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays

Support in producing extension of time and prolongation claims by providing the required Primavera P6 program to support our submissions

Monitor and control the progress of work to be adhered to the planned schedule and achieving project milestone

Generate executive summary Dashboard reports for higher management

Provide support in the areas of project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, claim analysis and construction activities in support of the program

Ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projects

Accountable for identifying the major milestones to be attained through the Program/Projects completion

Oversee construction schedule, perform special analysis for resource loading and performance progress

Fully proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

Good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle and able to correlate Construction Activities with planning, and schedule control

To have experience working for/ or with contractors or project management companies and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

To be confident presenting to all stakeholders including contractors and clients

To be experienced in working on claims from Claimant prospective & Client prospective using recommended practices for claims analysis in construction industry.

Strong English language proficiency and communication skills

Experience with tools like MS Project, Excel, and reporting platforms (Power BI, etc.) Fully proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

Good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle and able to correlate Construction Activities with planning, and schedule control

Experience with tools like MS Project, Excel, and reporting platforms (Power BI, etc.) B. Tech Degree or equivalent and have 10 years post graduate experience in design and/ or construction project planning or planning related functions.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

PMP or PRINCE2 certification or an individual working towards the same is desirable.
