Mechtex is seeking a visionary Senior Design Engineer to spearhead the design and optimization of our next-generation electromechanical systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex theory and functional hardware, overseeing CAD development, prototyping, and rigorous testing. Experience: 4 - 6 years (Manufacturing experience is must)
Qualification: B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering
Skills Required: 3D & 2D Drawing, Creation of BOM in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks
Design and Engineering:
Design & development of new parts and products as per required specification
Recording of technical data of samples given by customer
Documentation of new development processes and products such as design validation plan, input data, output data etc.
Dimensional checking and validating its parameter according to drawing in current development till the handover given to production
Preparing BOM in SWAN (ERP) software as per sales code
Verifying the inspection table from customer drawing with sales and validation department
Testing coordination with production & quality w.r.t. Design.
Trial coordination with the production & quality departments (whenever required).




Based on correction inputs from production, quality depts., verify the necessary changes in design/specification.
Release the new drawing, BOM to QC, production, purchase, sales, stores for newly developed product. NPRN closing date within 5 days.
Maximize usage of Design and Testing Software Tools like Autocad, Solid works etc.
Monitoring activities of internal Dept.
Monitoring of DCRN along with the targeted date & actual completion date and ensure change in all connected chain of documents.
Assembly and testing of samples given by customer for existing & new development products
Study of customer samples, checking its feasibility in design & development stage
Familiar with usage of Design like Autocad, SolidWorks and Gearteq, etc.
Random checking of operations performed on the shop-floor.
System & MIS: Submission of MIS should be done on timely basis
ERP/Relevant software Implementation: Ensuring effective use of ERP/Relevant software for entire design function
Training & Development
Conduct in house training for developing subordinates in - policies and procedures, protocols, M.Provide training to Production, Quality Sales and Marketing departments about the assembly and its CTQ parameters in development stage.
