Job Title: Product Owner (Scrum Master/BA/PM)

Location: Bangalore

Duration: Fulltime

Salary Range: INR 20 LPA to 25 LPA

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to support the delivery of digital, data, analytics, and AI-enabled products. The Product Owner will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, designers, and data teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure successful product delivery.

This role is ideal for an early-career product professional who is comfortable working in Agile teams, managing requirements, supporting backlog prioritization, and coordinating delivery activities across multiple stakeholders. The individual will also support validation, compliance, and governance processes required for technology products operating in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Delivery & Backlog Management

- Support the creation and maintenance of the product backlog.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user needs.
- Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
- Work with engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve questions during development.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist with release planning and deployment coordination.
- Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities and desired outcomes.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies,



and decisions to stakeholders.
- Support product managers and senior product owners in roadmap execution and planning activities.

3. Product Operations & Adoption

- Track product performance metrics and support reporting activities.
- Collect and document user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution.
- Support change management, training, and adoption activities when required.

4. Validation, Compliance & Governance

- Coordinate product validation activities in alignment with Lilly quality and compliance requirements.
- Support preparation and maintenance of validation documentation, test evidence, traceability records, and release approvals.
- Partner with engineering, business, quality, and compliance teams to ensure required governance activities are completed on time.
- Support CSQA reviews and other technology validation processes as applicable.
- Coordinate AI Registry submissions and required documentation for AI-enabled products.
- Maintain records related to product governance, risk assessments, and audit readiness.
- Track validation and compliance action items and ensure timely closure.
- Identify potential compliance or validation risks and escalate appropriately.

5. Agile Team Participation

- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for product-related questions from the development team.
- Support prioritization decisions based on business value and stakeholder needs.
- Ensure backlog items are sufficiently defined before development begins.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and technical leads to enable efficient delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.




- Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.
- Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting digital, analytics, data, or AI/ML products.
- Familiarity with CSQA, CSV, validation, or technology governance processes.
- Exposure to AI governance frameworks and AI Registry processes.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance principles.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, data engineering, or analytics solutions.
