Job Description:Main responsibilitiesThe jobholder will be responsible for design & development, verification & validation, certification of Safety critical Real time Systems & Software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standard for Avionics Airbus Helicopters.Main activitiesThe jobholder will be responsible for System Design, System Verification and Certification activities including:Authoring & Review of System & Software requirements (Systems level, High Level Requirements)Validation & Verification of System & Software Requirements Integration of Systems & Software Requirements Integration testing (System – software, software – software & software – Hardware)Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usageIdentification and Validation of Change Impact AnalysisAutomation and exploring current ways of working for improving the Systems activities (Python based, DOORs plug-in, other methods). Support Certification Activities (Authoring and reviews of SAS, PSAC, SVP etc)SkillsExperience in full System & Software lifecycle encompassing System & Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design and verification activities for Avionics and other Aerospace systems.‘Must have’ skills:Hands on experience on Systems & Software requirements engineering and ArchitectureDesign and development (module level design, interfaces, algorithm)Unit and integration testing (host & target environment)Systems & Software configuration managementIdentify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and Provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates.Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.Work closely sharing both industrial and functional design view, from the very early stages of the design through the serial production phase and up to the in- service life of the product (whole product lifecycle), working in close collaboration between the Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and any other disciplines involved throughout the whole product lifecycle.Understand the organization, infrastructure, constraints and limitations of program industrial planning.Understand global systems/products and their interdependencies during the industrialization phase.Knowledge about Standards (requirements / design)Work experience on DO-178B standardStrong interpersonal and Communication skillsQuick Learner‘Good to have’ skills:Project Management skillsDesign and implementation of software modulesEmbedded C-programmingAI/ML Based Automation and InnovationThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company:Airbus India Private LimitedEmployment Type:Permanent-------Experience Level:ProfessionalJob Family:Sub-system development < JF-EN-EQ>By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
