The Design and Estimation Engineer is responsible to manage client inquiries, prepare detailed quotations and designs for execution of projects from initial concept through to production. The person will have a robust background in design, estimation, and client coordination, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams. This position reports to the Project Head.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Estimation and Quotation: o Prepare detailed quotations based on BOQs or furniture layouts provided by clients, including 2D/3D reference images. o Verify production feasibility with the production team before finalizing estimates. o Provide final quotations to clients and, if necessary, submit revised quotations based on approved shop drawings.

2. Rendering: o Produce 3D model renderings or live images upon client request to illustrate design proposals and options.

3. Design and Elevation Preparation: o Upon confirmation of quotations and receipt of POs, coordinate with clients or architects to design and propose 3D and 2D elevations. o Obtain client sign-off on elevations, including shades and electrical cutouts.

4. Furniture Layout and Proposal: o Develop furniture proposals based on layouts from architects or create furniture layouts when none are provided. o Coordinate with clients to explain and finalize furniture proposals and obtain client approval.

5. Marking and Shop Drawings: o Provide electrical and furniture marking layouts to clients and site marking personnel following order confirmation.



Develop and submit detailed shop drawings (2D/3D/ISO) according to site conditions and client requirements. o Ensure shop drawings are approved by clients before sending them to the production department.

6. Colour Combination Layout: o Create and propose colour combination layouts for partitions based on client specifications. o Share colour combination layouts with the installation team to ensure accurate implementation.

7. Client Coordination: o Maintain clear and effective communication with clients regarding quotations, shop drawings, marking layouts, and other project details to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

8. Prepare Shop drawings for various products to support catalogue development, Showroom displays and product development

9. Any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager or required by the organization from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE: Min 2 years of relevant work experience in design, estimation, and client coordination

- Proficiency in 2D/3D design software and rendering tools.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
