The Designer is responsible for utilizing CATIA and CAD design skills to contribute to the design and development of medical devices following the ISO13485 process. The role involves ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards in the creation of medical products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Utilize catia and cad design skills to create detailed designs and drawings of medical devices.
2. Collaborate within team to develop recent product concepts and prototypes.
3. Ensure designs comply with iso13485 regulations and requirements for medical devices.
4. Conduct design reviews to gather feedback and make necessary iterations.
5. Work on design modifications based on feedback from quality assurance and regulatory teams.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of design processes and changes.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in medical device design.
Skill Requirements
1. Familiarity with catia v5/v6 and cad design software.
2. Understanding of the iso13485 quality management system for medical devices.
3. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
4. Knowledge of design principles and standards specific to medical device industry.
