Edify World School, Bengaluru is looking for a qualified and experienced TGT English Teacher with 2–5 years of teaching experience in the CBSE curriculum. Candidates must have strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach English effectively to Grades 9 and 10.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to students of Grades 9 and 10 as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Demonstrate strong command over English grammar, literature, reading and writing skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and assessments.
- Focus on Grade 10 board examination preparation and academic performance.
- Develop students' reading, writing, comprehension and communication skills.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage interactive learning.
- Coordinate with parents and academic teams regarding student progress.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English.
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Robust subject knowledge of Grade 9 and 10 English.
- Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience handling CBSE Class 10 board examination preparation will be an advantage.
