*Job Description - Room Attendant / Housekeeping Attendant*

*Reports To:* Housekeeping Supervisor / Front Office Manager

*Location:* Dehradun / Mussoorie

*Employment Type:* Full time

*1. Job Summary:*

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors as per hotel standards to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests.

*2. Key Responsibilities:*

- Clean and make up guest rooms, bathrooms and balconies daily as per SOP.

- Changing of bed linen, towels, and replenishing guest amenities (water, toiletries, tea/coffee).

- Thorough cleaning of check-out rooms for next guest arrival on time.

- Reporting any lost & found items, damages, or maintenance issues in rooms to supervisor immediately.

- Proper handling and care of linen - No mixing of guest linen with staff / cleaning use.

- Maintain housekeeping trolley, equipment and cleaning chemicals properly.





- Follow key handling policy - Keys to be submitted at reception, no misuse.

- Assist guests with requests like extra blanket, heater, water in a polite manner.

- Maintain cleanliness in corridors, pantry and back areas.

- Follow all grooming, hygiene and behaviour policies of the hotel.

*3. Requirements:*

- Minimum 1 year experience in same role preferred (Fresher can also apply).

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Honest, punctual and hardworking.

- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.

- Basic communication in Hindi is mandatory.

*4. What We Expect:*

- No use of guest linen, towels or amenities for personal use.

- Timely reporting - Duty time to be followed strictly.

- Polite and respectful behaviour with guests and team members.

*Salary:* As per industry standards + Food + Accommodation

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
