We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented *Senior Accountant* to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting operations, GST compliance, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

* Key Responsibilities*

* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations.

* Handle high-volume accounting transactions, with a minimum of 100 entries per day.

* Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-2B reconciliation, GSTR-3B, and related GST return processes.

* Handle TDS calculations, deductions, returns, and other applicable statutory compliances.

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

* Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure accurate maintenance of financial records.

* Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, budgets, and financial reports.

* Support process improvements and accounting system implementation.

Com graduate; candidates with relevant postgraduate qualifications may also apply.

* Minimum *8 years of experience* in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.

* Candidates with a *manufacturing industry or CA firm background* will be preferred.

* Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

* Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems, such as Oracle or equivalent.

* Local candidates from Kolkata and nearby areas are preferred.
