Architect / Interior Designer (4-5 Years) – Pune

Ufara is an architecture and interior design studio with practices in Pune and Vadodara. Our work spans residential, commercial and institutional projects.

We’re a close-knit studio. Your work will be visible, your voice will count and you’ll work directly with the partners.

The role
We are looking for an Architect or Interior Designer with around 4 - 5 years of practice experience who can take a project from concept to site with a high level of independence.

What you’ll do

- Develop design concepts, space planning and layouts grounded in how people will actually use the space
- Produce working drawings, GFC sets, detail drawings, door/window and finish schedules
- Prepare 3D views and presentations for client discussions
- Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants, vendors and contractors
- Make regular site visits to resolve issues and check that work matches the design intent
- Track your deliverables and timelines, and plan your work each day
- Grow into mentoring junior team members as the studio expands

What we’re looking for

- B.Arch, B.Des,



or a Diploma in Interior Design
- For Architect applicants: valid Council of Architecture registration
- About 4-5 years of experience in an architecture or interior design practice, including in office execution
- Robust working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp; Enscape or a similar rendering tool preferred
- Solid understanding of materials, detailing and how things are built
- Experience with commercial or institutional projects is a strong plus
- Clear communication in English and Hindi; Marathi is a plus
- Someone who asks why before what: you care about the people using the space, not just how it photographs

How we work

- Studio hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Protected, phone-free focus time every morning for deep design work
- Extra hours are tracked and paid
- Site-visit travel is reimbursed

- Direct access to the partners and real ownership of your projects

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month, based on portfolio and interview
