1. Job Summary

The Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting Southbound Industries' silicone sealants and related products, developing new business opportunities, increasing brand awareness, and expanding the company's market presence. The role involves identifying potential customers, dealers, distributors, contractors, and project clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to achieve business growth.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Marketing & Business Development

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the silicone sealants market.
- Promote company products to dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, builders, and industrial customers.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and current market opportunities.
- Develop strategies to increase product awareness and market penetration.
- Explore new geographical markets and potential distribution channels.

B. Customer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct customer visits, meetings, and product presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Collect customer feedback and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
- Maintain a database of customers, enquiries, leads, and follow-up activities.

C. Sales Support & Target Achievement

- Support the sales team in generating enquiries and converting leads into orders.
- Work towards achieving assigned marketing and business development targets.
- Coordinate with the sales team regarding customer requirements, quotations, and order status.
- Follow up on potential customers and pending business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing marketing plans, sales reports, and business development reports.

D. Promotional Activities

- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.




- Coordinate product demonstrations, exhibitions, trade fairs, and dealer meetings.
- Support the preparation of product brochures, catalogues, presentations, and other promotional materials.
- Promote company products through digital platforms, social media, and other relevant channels.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and applications effectively to customers.

E. Internal Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with the production, customer care, accounts, and logistics teams to support customer requirements.
- Provide market feedback and competitor information to management.
- Submit regular reports on customer visits, leads generated, enquiries, and marketing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and customer interactions.
- Perform other marketing-related duties assigned by management.

3. Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration (BBA), Commerce (B.Com), or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in marketing or sales will be an advantage.

4. Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, industrial products, or building materials will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with good communication and marketing skills may also be considered.

5. Required Skills

- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and convincing abilities.
- Customer relationship management and business development skills.
- Knowledge of market research and competitor analysis.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain customer databases.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and marketing activities.
- Knowledge of English and Malayalam; other languages will be an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
