- Clean and maintain the bakery production area, floors, walls, ceilings and workstations.
- Wash and sanitize bakery utensils, trays, moulds, containers and other equipment.
- Ensure proper cleaning of mixers, ovens, racks and other bakery machinery as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, refrigerators and preparation sections.
- Dispose of waste materials and garbage regularly in designated bins.
- Ensure garbage bins are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Follow proper hygiene and sanitation practices while carrying out cleaning activities.
- Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored properly after use.
- Assist bakery staff in maintaining cleanliness during and after production activities.
- Ensure washrooms and common areas are kept clean, wherever assigned.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or pest-related concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Carry out any other cleaning-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
