JOB DESCRIPTION: QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Summary

Skyline Infraworld Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage construction quantity measurements, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, billing, and cost control for architecture, infrastructure, and government consultancy projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Conduct quantity take-offs and detailed measurements from architectural, structural, and civil drawings.

Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and material quantity calculations.

Verify contractor bills, running account (RA) bills, and final bills.

Prepare and check tender BOQs, comparative statements, and cost breakdowns.

Monitor project costs, material consumption, and budget variations.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams for quantity verification.

Identify discrepancies in drawings, BOQs, and site measurements.

Maintain measurement sheets, billing records, and cost documentation.

Work with applicable CPWD, PWD, DSR, SOR,



and other relevant schedule-of-rates standards.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Relevant experience in quantity surveying, estimation, billing, or construction cost management.

Experience in infrastructure, government, public-sector, or building construction projects will be preferred.

MS Excel

BOQ Preparation and Quantity Take-off

Rate Analysis and Cost Estimation

RA Bills and Final Billing

CPWD/PWD DSR and SOR

Measurement Books (MB) and Quantity Verification

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.

Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.

Good coordination and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple project deadlines accurately.
