We are looking for a Design Engineer with knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design and develop industrial fixtures, jigs, gauges, and special-purpose machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical fixtures.
- Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and BOMs.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings with dimensions and tolerances.
- Coordinate with project, production, purchase, and assembly teams.
- Modify designs based on customer requirements and feedback.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and follow engineering standards.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and tolerance concepts is an advantage.
- Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.
