About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to keep our PET blow molding machines, edible oil filling and packaging lines, and high-pressure utility systems running smoothly. You will help reduce machine breakdowns and keep oil and material wastage to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out mechanical maintenance of automatic and semi-automatic PET blow molding machines (ASB, Side-by-Side, and other rotary/linear machines).
- Handle mold changeover, mold alignment, stretch rod, and heating oven tuning and maintenance.
- Correct bottle defects such as base formation issues and uneven thickness through mechanical settings.
- Maintain rotary bottle filling machines, capping machines, online labeling machines, carton packers, and conveyor systems.
- Resolve oil leakage and weight variation problems during filling immediately.
- Maintain high-pressure air compressors (up to 40 bar)



and low-pressure compressors for the filling lines.
- Look after chillers, cooling towers, and water pumps used for mold cooling.
- Prepare and strictly follow the preventive maintenance schedule for blow molding and packing machines.
- Use only food-grade lubricants, in line with food safety norms.
- Conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech / B.E.
- Experience: Minimum [2 to 3] years of direct experience in PET blow molding (preform to bottle) and in an edible oil / FMCG filling plant.
- Technical skills: Solid practical knowledge of high-pressure pneumatics, hydraulics, mold design and alignment, gearboxes, and bearings.
