Position: Academic Mentor

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Academic Mentor to lead and support resident students at our Kozhikode center. In this role, you will act as a key guide and facilitator, helping hostellers balance disciplined study habits with personal well-being. Serving as a crucial bridge between students, teaching faculty, wardens, and parents, you will foster an setting where hostellers thrive academically and personal development is prioritized.

Core Responsibilities

- Hostel Study Supervision: Lead daily structured study hours in the hostel, monitor room-wise punctuality, and ensure a quiet, focused academic atmosphere.
- Progress Tracking & Analytics: Maintain accurate daily logs of student attendance, study hall focus, and individual academic milestones.
- Academic & Resource Coordination: Oversee the distribution and submission of practice sets and assignments. Partner with teaching faculty to organize targeted doubt-clearing sessions and structured study routines inside the hostel.
- Parent & Stakeholder Bridge:



Conduct routine one-on-one check-ins with hostellers and communicate regularly with parents regarding academic growth, well-being, attendance, and conduct.
- Operational Alignment: Maintain thorough documentation and work closely with the Kozhikode Centre Head and Hostel Warden to ensure seamless daily administration.
- Student Mentorship & Pastoral Care: Provide compassionate support to help students manage academic stress, adjust to hostel life, handle homesickness, and stay motivated throughout their program.

Candidate Requirements

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience Level: Open to enthusiastic fresh graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in coaching institutes, residential schools, or student mentoring.
- Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Malayalam and English are required to interact comfortably with local students, parents, and administration.
- Key Traits: High empathy, robust organizational capabilities, and a structured approach to student discipline and guidance

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
