Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project MEP Engineer to manage and coordinate all MEP services for a high-rise residential project executed using Mivan aluminium formwork technology. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, quality control, and commissioning of MEP works, ensuring seamless integration of MEP services with structural and architectural works.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in residential high-rise projects, particularly Mivan construction, with a thorough understanding of concealed service provisions, slab and wall coordination, sleeves and openings, and interdepartmental coordination to avoid rework and delays.

Key Responsibilities1. MEP Planning and Coordination

- Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and specifications before execution.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, planning, QA/QC, procurement, and execution teams.
- Ensure timely finalization of sleeves, openings, conduits, embedded items, and service provisions before Mivan shuttering and concrete pouring.
- Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services and structural or architectural elements.
- Prepare and monitor MEP work schedules, look-ahead plans, manpower requirements, and material procurement schedules.

2. Mivan-Specific MEP Execution

- Ensure proper coordination of electrical conduits, switch boxes, junction boxes, plumbing sleeves, drainage provisions, and other embedded services before shuttering closure.
- Verify all embedded MEP items against approved coordinated drawings before concrete pouring.
- Conduct pre-pour inspections with the civil, structural, and PMC teams.
- Ensure proper positioning, fixing, and protection of conduits, sleeves, inserts, and boxes to prevent displacement during concreting.
- Coordinate post-de-shuttering inspections and ensure timely rectification of any missing, damaged, or misaligned provisions.
- Minimize wall chasing, core cutting, structural damage, and rework through effective pre-planning and coordination.

Mechanical and Plumbing Works

- Supervise domestic water supply, hot water systems, soil and waste lines, rainwater drainage, and plumbing installations.
- Coordinate fire-fighting, ventilation, smoke extraction, and other mechanical services as applicable to the project.
- Monitor installation of pumps, tanks, valves, equipment, and associated piping systems.
- Ensure pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing, and commissioning of plumbing systems as per approved specifications.

4. Electrical and ELV Works

- Supervise electrical conduiting, wiring, cable trays, cable pulling, distribution boards, earthing, and lighting installations.
- Coordinate installation of electrical systems with embedded provisions and interior finishing requirements.
- Monitor ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, intercom, data, and other systems as applicable.
- Ensure testing of electrical installations, insulation resistance, earthing, and other required safety checks.

5. Fire and Life Safety Systems

- Coordinate fire-fighting piping, hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, and related systems as applicable.
- Ensure installation complies with approved fire and life safety drawings, project specifications, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning with the relevant agencies and consultants.

6. Quality Control and Documentation

- Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and inspection and test plans.
- Conduct inspections at critical stages and maintain inspection requests, checklists, test reports, and quality records.
- Ensure timely closure of non-conformance reports (NCRs), site observations,



and snag lists.
- Verify material approvals, technical submittals, material inspection records, and test certificates.
- Maintain as-built drawings, testing and commissioning reports, and handover documentation.

7. Progress Monitoring and Resource Management

- Monitor daily site progress and ensure execution as per project milestones.
- Supervise MEP engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams.
- Track material availability, productivity, manpower deployment, and subcontractor performance.
- Identify execution constraints and coordinate with the Project Manager to resolve issues.
- Support quantity verification, joint measurements, billing certification, and variation assessment.

8. Testing, Commissioning, and Handover

- Prepare and monitor testing and commissioning plans for all MEP systems.
- Ensure completion of system-wise testing, integrated testing where applicable, and rectification of deficiencies.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, and facility management teams during inspections and handover.
- Ensure submission of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, test reports, and other handover documents.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8–10 years of overall MEP experience, preferably with significant experience in high-rise residential construction.
- Hands-on experience in MEP execution for Mivan / aluminium formwork projects is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fire-fighting, and associated building services.
- Experience in MEP coordination, drawing review, site execution, quality inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction planning and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of applicable Indian Standards, National Building Code provisions, and project-specific statutory requirements.

Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
