Job Description

Lakes Land Immigration is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immigration Case Worker to prepare, process, and manage Canadian immigration applications under the supervision of a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).

The ideal candidate must have practical experience handling Canadian immigration files, strong knowledge of IRCC requirements, and excellent document preparation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process Canadian work permit, study permit, visitor visa, super visa, and permanent residence applications.
- Handle Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), spousal sponsorship, and family sponsorship applications.
- Complete and review IRCC application forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Review supporting documents and identify missing information, inconsistencies, and potential refusal risks.
- Prepare client explanation letters, supporting documentation, and application packages for RCIC review.
- Monitor application deadlines, permit expiries,



and IRCC document requests.
- Maintain organized client files and provide timely application updates.
- Research current IRCC policies, immigration programs, and document requirements.
- Coordinate with clients to collect required documents and information.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience processing Canadian immigration applications preferred.
- Strong understanding of IRCC procedures, Express Entry, PNP, work permits, and study permits.
- Experience using IRCC online portals and completing immigration forms.
- Excellent written English, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and PDF editing software.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with practical experience in Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), Express Entry, spousal sponsorship, restoration applications, and LMIA-based or LMIA-exempt work permits will be preferred.
