Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to oversee the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions in our manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, ensuring compliance with quality standards, reducing defects, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure incoming material, in-process, and final product inspections are carried out effectively.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable industry standards.
- Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and certification audits.
- Monitor rejection rates, rework, scrap, customer complaints, and other quality performance indicators.
- Implement quality improvement tools such as 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP, as applicable.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase,



and Maintenance departments to resolve quality issues.
- Manage supplier quality, incoming material issues, and supplier audits.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Train, guide, and supervise quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
- Prepare quality reports and present performance updates to management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product reliability and reduce manufacturing costs.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- Experience in engineering drawings, dimensional inspection, and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 experience is preferred for automotive manufacturing.
- Experience in customer complaint handling, 8D reports, RCA, and CAPA.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 10–15 years of experience in engineering, machining, automotive components, or precision manufacturing, including experience managing a quality team, are preferred.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
