Experience: 2–5 years in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in bitumen, petroleum products or road-construction materials
Qualification: MBA mandatory; specialisation in Marketing preferred

Role Overview:

Drive bitumen sales and business development across the assigned territory and surrounding markets. The role involves acquiring customers, strengthening existing relationships, achieving sales targets and ensuring timely payment collections.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop business with road contractors, infrastructure companies, EPC contractors, hot-mix plant operators and dealers.
- Identify upcoming road projects, assess bitumen requirements and build a solid pipeline of prospective customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales volume, revenue and margin targets.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms within approved limits and convert enquiries into orders.
- Track competitor pricing, supply availability and market demand.
- Coordinate with terminal, logistics and accounts teams for timely dispatches,



deliveries and customer support.
- Monitor customer credit exposure, outstanding payments and collections.
- Conduct regular customer visits and submit weekly reports covering sales, enquiries, market developments and collections.

Candidate Requirements:

- MBA from a recognised institution.
- 2–5 years of relevant B2B sales and marketing experience; direct bitumen sales experience preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
- Familiarity with the assigned territory and local contractor network preferred.
- Proficiency in Kannada and working knowledge of English; Hindi is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Ability to independently manage sales targets, customer accounts and payment follow-ups.
