Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to handle electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across our foundry and machine shop operations. The candidate must possess a valid C License (mandatory) and have practical experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintaining foundry equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.

Key Skills & Requirements

- Valid Electrical C License is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of electrical motors, control panels, industrial wiring, PLC basics, and HT/LT lines.
- Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and CNC machines.
- Experience in foundry equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures.
- Ability to identify equipment faults and minimize machine downtime.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and applicable statutory requirements.
- Good problem-solving, coordination, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical maintenance of motors, electrical panels, industrial wiring, basic PLC systems, and HT/LT lines.
- Perform mechanical maintenance of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, pumps, and CNC machines.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for foundry equipment.




- Maintain and troubleshoot the following equipment:
- Furnace and heat-treatment furnace/oven
- LPDC (Low Pressure Die Casting) machines
- Shot blasting machines
- Core shooter machines
- Hydraulic power packs
- Industrial cranes
- Solar panel systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure machines are maintained in positive working condition.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance schedules, and spare-parts consumption records.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to plan maintenance activities without affecting production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company maintenance standards.
- Identify critical spare parts and coordinate with Stores and Purchase for timely availability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5–7 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with foundry equipment and industrial electrical systems.
- Valid C License with practical knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
