Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients through venipuncture and other approved techniques.
- Verify patient identity and prepare patients for blood collection.
- Label, store, and transport blood samples properly to the laboratory.
- Follow hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols during sample collection.
- Maintain accurate patient records and sample collection details.
- Handle blood collection equipment, needles, syringes, and vacutainer tubes safely.
- Ensure proper disposal of used needles and biomedical waste.
- Assist laboratory staff with sample processing and preparation when required.
- Provide basic instructions and reassurance to patients before and after blood collection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
