Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Engineer with strong knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and interpretation of civil and bridge drawings. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tender documentation, and quantity verification for bridge and other civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity estimates for bridge construction and other civil engineering projects.
- Read, interpret, and understand bridge drawings, structural drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and reinforcement detailing drawings.
- Calculate quantities of concrete, reinforcement steel, excavation, earthwork, shuttering, piling, foundations, piers, abutments, deck slabs, girders, and other structural components.
- Prepare and verify the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.




- Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and material quantity calculations.
- Perform quantity take-offs from structural drawings and design documents.
- Check and verify quantities submitted by contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Coordinate with design, planning, execution, and project teams to resolve discrepancies in drawings and quantities.
- Identify variations in quantities due to revisions in drawings or changes in project scope.
- Prepare tender estimates, comparative statements, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of estimated, executed, and measured quantities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in quantity estimation, quantity surveying, or civil infrastructure projects.
- Robust ability to prepare estimates independently from civil and structural drawings.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
