Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Woodworking Machine Operator & Carpenter who can operate CNC machines used for modular furniture manufacturing and perform basic to advanced carpentry work. The candidate should understand furniture drawings, panel processing, machine operations, drilling, routing, cutting, and assembly of modular furniture components.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC woodworking machines for cutting, routing, grooving, drilling, and machining furniture panels.
- Work with plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board, laminates, and other furniture materials.
- Read and understand technical drawings, dimensions, and cutting layouts.
- Set up machine tools, workpieces, fixtures, and operating parameters as required.
- Load and unload panels safely and ensure correct positioning before machining.
- Check CNC programs and machining details before starting production, and report programming errors.
- Perform drilling, edge preparation, routing, and other woodworking operations according to production requirements.
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as fitting, alignment, assembly, and finishing of furniture components.
- Inspect finished panels for dimensional accuracy, drilling positions, grooves, and surface quality.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality-control teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Perform routine machine cleaning,



maintenance checks, and tool-change activities as authorized.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Required Skills

- Practical experience in woodworking or modular furniture manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CNC cutting, CNC panel-processing machines, or CNC drilling machines.
- Ability to read furniture drawings and understand measurements.
- Knowledge of woodworking tools, cutters, drills, and machine tooling.
- Understanding of furniture panel materials and their machining requirements.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine controls and programs.
- Good measurement, troubleshooting, and quality-inspection skills.
- Ability to work in a production environment and meet daily targets.

Educational Qualification

ITI in Carpentry, or a related trade is preferred. Candidates with relevant hands-on experience may also be considered.

Experience

1–4 years of relevant experience in woodworking, modular furniture production, or CNC machine operation is preferred. Experienced carpenters with CNC operating skills may also apply.

- Quality and timely completion of furniture components.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
