Audiology Duties

- Assess Hearing & Balance: Conduct pure-tone audiometry, tympanometry, and vestibular/balance assessments to identify the type and degree of hearing loss or inner-ear dysfunction. [1, 2, 3]
- Fit Amplification Devices: Select, program, and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive listening systems (HATS). [1, 2]
- Manage Tinnitus & Ear Care: Perform otoscopic examinations, remove excessive cerumen (earwax), and provide non-medical tinnitus management. [1]
- Aural Rehabilitation: Teach lip-reading, auditory training, and communication strategies to help patients adapt to hearing loss. [1, 2, 3]

Speech-Language Therapy Duties

- Evaluate Communication & Swallowing: Assess speech sound disorders, language delays/disorders, stuttering (fluency), voice issues, and dysphagia (swallowing difficulties) in children and adults. [1, 2, 3]
- Design Treatment Plans:



Create and execute customized one-on-one or group therapy sessions to improve articulation, language comprehension, and motor-speech skills. [1, 2]
- AAC Implementation: Introduce Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems for non-verbal or severely impaired patients. [1]

Shared Duties

- Counseling & Education: Guide and educate patients, parents, and caregivers on treatment expectations, home exercises, and environmental accommodations. [1, 2, 3]
- Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate with ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) specialists, pediatricians, neurologists, occupational therapists, and special educators. [1, 2, 3]

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
